Anyone else have a countdown app on your phone with important dates? I use it for reminders, vacations, big life events. Basically I just love making lists. Currently my countdowns are all pretty much like this:
- Close escrow
- Moving truck
- Last day of school
- Moving day
A big thing happened on Friday. As we closed escrow with the sale of our home, we closed a chapter and said “goodbye” to our California home.
My eyes and heart flooded with the countless memories produced within these walls. Birthdays, family dinners, Galentines Day parties, countless dinner parties. A lot of life happened here.
Goodbye, old friend. It’s been a joy. May the prayers and Bible verses sharpied on your subfloor be a subconscious blessing to your new owner.
